Term 2 Learning Goals

These are my Learning Goals for term 2.

Reading

To get to the next level I need to

• Make a conclusion or an opinion about the stories I read
• Use important information to show my understanding
• Try to visualise when I am reading by myself or when I am listening to the teacher reading

Writing

To get to the next level I need to:

• Use my plan thoroughly when I am writing.
• Use full stops in my stories.
• Proof read my writing to make sure it makes sense!!

Maths

To get to the next level I need to

• Understand the meaning of 1s 10s and 100s
• Understand story problems in maths and use +, -, x and /
• Continue the number pattern and then write or explain the rule

The Journey Through the Desert

Far beyond the myths of time there lived 2 boys which were on a mountain climbing it. They got tired and hungry, so they decided to go home and then the boys forgot the way home so they went to find the way home but they could not find their way home.

Then it got dark they felt scared and lonely. So the sun started to rise up and then from where they slept and they continued their journey on to find their way home, hoping they were going to find their way home.

 But...instead of finding their way home, they got themselves lost in the desert. A Jesus cross was on a death between the sun and the moon. This happened because the sun was angry at the the moon because they never got to see each other anymore. They had been pushed apart from each other. 

But the people were named R.J and Edward. They were running so fast that they got dehydrated because there was no water. So they kept on walking for hours that they didn't know they had been walking for a town called Home Planet and they found their house by walking from the desert to their house.
